Finding Thy Self Poem by Rikki Giovani

Finding Thy Self

Rating: 5.0

I am many
I am all
I am one
I am me
I am you
I am we, us, and they

I am the brokenhearted
I am the fully loved
I am the heart full
I am the loving and caring
I am the kindhearted

I am the rich and poor
I am the homeless and sheltered
I am the righteous and accursed
I am the dead and the living

I am the weak and the strong
I am the sick and the healthy
I am the soul and the spirit
I am a prodigy
I am the norm

I am disguised as LOVE

Look for me in everything
Look for me in everyone
Search and you shall find

First you must search within yourself
Find me there and you will know and understand
To accept everyone for who they are as I do
Do not judge for you shall be judged as well

Measure you achievements not by their stature
But by the love and help that helped you get there

In your darkest times measure everything by not how hard times are
But, how the joyous times in between took your breathe away and
Helped you remember me and helped you remember to love
