50 Odd Strangers In Bmm Poem by rahul mandal

50 Odd Strangers In Bmm

50 odd strangers met in a room;
Which was unfurnished?
For three boring years
They were doomed
With togetherness.

Room no 206 was the address
At probably 1 they would meet,
They were not contend with this mess,
In this mess on each other they began to cheat.

They begun
With forming alliances,
Good-looking holding
License
Over not so good-looking,
Talented over not so talented,
And the internal war begun;

Now almost three years
This war has been going on,
Same spot where they would fight,
These strangers
Were no longer strangers?
Among them came out
Short time lovers,
Beneficial lovers,
Far-sighted lovers,
At least lovers were they now!

The time they passed together;
Stealing glances of each other
At the tea spot.
Telling on each other
At tea spot.
When they were called for
Somehow they would slip
At the tea spot.
They were working together
At the tea spot.
They were holding and releasing their grudges
At the tea spot.
I MUST tell you this,
Being among these strangers,
We had to pay our fees
For bearing each other
At the tea spot.

Now the tenure is about to get over,
Ferocious years WE WISH,
Had gone a little slower,
50 odd strangers when they first met;
Whether
In a class room,
At the photocopy shop,
In the examination room helping each other from
Being a flop,
Waiting for each other at the station for the expedition to begin,
In the premises stood huddled ‘their name cannot write my pen, '
Our world's locked door
The key to which C.R. opened,
We are the words
To unity of togetherness's slogan.

My heart is overwhelmed
Penning down these strangers,
We will be scattered in a month or SO,
(On the road, promise me when will meet after some years?
We won't pass each other ‘head nodding'
By,
We won't wave casual hi,
We won't have any dead conversation)
We will walk up to each other with an exciting HELLO!
