Why is it that your so far from me
What is it that you can not understand
Is it something I do
Or who I have become
What made you leave
Why will you not come back
Is there some way to change this
Can it be fixed
Is there a dream that I should be in
Or am I just a nightmare to you now
Why did you stop loving me
I would have changed the world for you
Giving up everything to be with you
Came so naturally
Did I lose sight or did you lose faith
Was I just a way out
Of an endless sadness
Did you use me to escape
Was I such a big mistake
You were my everything
My whole life
And what you've left
Is nothing but a shell
A never ending death of the soul
A shallow joke of what I was
Worn out and faded
This is what you left me with
And all I'm left with is me.
