089. Miraculous Power Poem by Dipankar Sadhukhan

I don't know when and how
I came to this earth.
I can't remember those days
When I was a very little child.

Since the days
Of my childhood
When I was only four
I've called up almost everything.

Gradually I have grown up
With the elders' affection and care
And your unending Love.
Now I have become a mature youth.

From the records
In my memory
I am writing those
Which can't be expressed well.

Since the days of my childhood
When I have started gathering knowledge
A miraculous power has been working
Within me every time.

No role I have
In my success.
That power has brought success
To me in many fields.

In my life I have passed so many years
I had to journey
Through ocean and sea, tempest and tsunami
Desert and deep forest of life.

But have I journeyed?
No…
The miraculous power has worked
On my behalf day and night.

My best has come out of adversity.
I know it very well.
Others too know it
And that's why they know me well.

Loving humanity, worshipping God,
Knowing this world well -
Everything has been possible
Because of the miraculous power.

With the call of this power
Sometimes I wake up
From sleep at midnight
And in joy tears roll down from my eyes.

I feel the happiness to live in.
My heart wants to live in and help others
And for these I long for
Loving and serving the mankind.

Sometimes I try to find out
The power that is working
Day and night within me.
But I fail.

I perceive -
It may be the Almighty;
It may be the Divine Love;
It may be the infinite power.

For this miraculous power within me
I am alive on the earth
And this earth seems to me
A lovely place like Heaven.
