048. Flying On A Crocodile Poem by Jaden Knight

048. Flying On A Crocodile

Flying on a crocodile
through the ears of an elf
I heard a pink giraffe
give birth to its self

the father was a swollen ear
chewing on a chair
its feet were red and purple
waving octopus hair

its knees had broken legs
which were hanging from its nose
kicking sand at the dwarf rhinos
that were sniffing on the rose

the rose was made from egg yolks
tied securely to a tree
a dozen streaks of honey
and a bumble bee

the bee was rather angry
that its eyes were in a box
his toes covering tree leaves
being tickled by a fox

I hear all this and wonder why
the creatures never said
that they were just imagined
from inside the poor elf’s head

i love nose/rhinos (accent on -nos) . the bee was rather angry that its eyes were in a box.............. this pulls at my mind; i'm liking it. sorry to have to tell you, but this too belongs in MyPoemList! AND...inside the poor elf’s head ....................almost priceless. i wonder how much it would bring in if poems were auctioned at Christie's. i'm going to send this poem to a few friends i think. :) bri thanks for sharing.
