029: Sleeping Beauty Poem by Colin Johnston

029: Sleeping Beauty

Rating: 5.0

<font color=magenta>Skin as soft as Silk
Crying out to be touched
A neck as graceful as a Swans
Light and Dark shadows
Gliding smoothly over it

Curves and Valleys blending smoothly
At the Small of her back
Legs and Arms haphazardly crossed in sleep
As the morning light infuses the skin
With an almost magical translucent quality

Feet so dainty, that my heart skips a beat
Blood pumping
Senses soaring
Head reeling
With this wonderful thing

Called Love…

This is a quite excellent free style poem, Colin, most wonderfully composed and expressed and very vivid in it's imagery. Your outstanding descriptive words 'hooked' the reader from the first line to the end of this fine poem. Carl.

You write with passion about the neck, the skin, and curves. But! It's the feet that make your heart skip a beat. :) I love that. 'Dainty' feet at that! Deborah Cromer
