Nenia Haven Poems

i sit on my throne
all alone
in my abandoned kingdom
i call my home
...

hollowed eyes pale skin
running from the darkness within
my body lies listless
you come to me in my dreams
...

angels wings are tired
overused worn torn
wings won’t shield her
from the rain anymore
...

i will hang from the clouds
my hair will be painted with rainbows
and there will be stars in my eyes
morning dew will coat my toes
...

i can imagine..
a duo of two souls intertwined
more than flesh
met with a flash of brilliant blinding light
...

Please don't give up
we've only just met
I have some things to sort out in my head
...

One day she woke with a start
there was something missing
'oh where oh where is my heart? '
the gaping hole in her chest brought her up to speed
...

I've been hiding out for so long that now I am someone I do not recognize
feeling so tired and old really takes it's toll
I've spent too many years waging a war
and a great deal of it with myself
...

they said she only had one more day to live, and she could do anything with that day that she wanted.

so she sat herself down to write out a list of possibilities.

feeling still exists but is dazed
and
hopeless
