Mohamed Amine belhssen Poems

From the Gods up above came a deep sound
Rumors about the messiah now to be found
He is unlike us, more artistic, more profound
Salvation at last, away from this beholding ground.

2.

I look at myself with a look of pain
I look and ask; how comes to fail?
Wasn't I enough or lost I the trail?
The trail was I or I need again to sail.
...

Is there a book, a book alone out there
Is there a hook to catch a star in the air
Have I understood and need I to play fair
Have I again fell and much should I bear?
...

Rage! Rage even in them blissful days
Roar and sooner you shall break your cage
Fear not and consume them wine and age
Sin more and free you are with no sage.

Take a pause from life and look around
Take some rest and peace would be found
Live the moment and unleash your sound
Focus here and life would be on your ground.

The You

From the Gods up above came a deep sound
Rumors about the messiah now to be found
He is unlike us, more artistic, more profound
Salvation at last, away from this beholding ground.

Far from home and into not a world of damn
Where we shall eat, drink, and frown no sound
Happiness He said, time to be forever around
Angels to flirt with, all devils are condemned.

But I don't know why does it feel like not
Again, should I waste a life which I had not?
To meditate and recall those who had fought
To tied all memories with such a dark knot.

I wanted to believe in such a beyond cure
An endless life which it did me once allure
But I am such a Bohemian boy, so terribly sure
That once I am Dark, I can never be again Pure.

And it hurts to say that never once have I read
Or prayed to who sacrificed on my behalf instead
To confront my sins and to admit being misled
But I laugh so hard because I am Consciously Mad.

Sooner though and before me seeing That light
Before holding onto Him and taking my final flight
I would write these words for those who might
Read me fully and understand my poetry as bright.

And please take a good care of my sweet cat
To me, she was more than a simple human pet
She shared me my life and we together had had
That Love, since the day our dreamy eyes have met.
