I once played in that red house

The swift caress of the breeze
Touching my skin with such ease

Lightly as a feather of a singing bird

A vision of pure wonder for all to see
Interrupted by the conflict of sadness within me

I can not quite embrace the beauty of this present moment

My Paladin Knight
Do not leave me tonight

As I need you through the night

My body ached with pain
Beaten down, wet in rain
My heart worn, in need of healing
Searching for a solution to my hurting
...

I sit, I speak and I cry
A quiet, muffled sigh
Looking up, I try to speak
My voice frozen, oh so weak
...

Life gave me many signs to follow
But sometimes fear was in the way
I kept hoping for a better tomorrow
Not wanting to face what I had today
...

Inner growth is a transition
A moment, a time, in motion

Our injuries seeking validation
Our sense of self needing vindication
...

Moments like these
Gives me a sense of ease

My senses hearing the slightest breeze
Singing such sweet soft melodies
...

Stirring slowly, the sun coming around
Creating woman from the dust off the ground
A creature newly reborn
Whole, no longer torn
