Somewhere over the rainbow.....

As she wipes her tears from her blackened eyes,
...

She awakens from her dreams to be let down,
As her world suddenly fills the earth with a frown,
Her name was sunshine in which she filled others hearts,
Now to happiness she never knew a part,
...

I write on my arms a sweet goodbye
I was always the one sitting there crying
You never saw me bleeding
(You knows if you would have cared)
...

I look at her because she is my life,
This kind of love not taken easy without a knife,
Holding her I realize my world in my heart,
To this world I do not exist as part,
...

They all say 'She is just confused',
What do they think I don't understand,
I fell in love with a woman instead of a man,
They say I chose this life of hurt,
...

As I sit there waiting for tears to rush down,
I suddenly find the reasoning through the crowd,
My arms long for the blade I call my friend,
I need to touch it to my skin creating to best sin,
...

We silently scream into the dark,
As we sit alone and fall apart,
The feeling doesnt fit and the walls are to thin,
I would ask you to love me, (but it would be for pretend)

If You Want The Rainbow, You Must First Go Through The Rain

Somewhere over the rainbow.....

As she wipes her tears from her blackened eyes,
She gazed towards the stars wondering why,
Her heart felt so broken through her chest,
Everday she was great but today wasnt her best,
He hit her again leaving only bruises this time,
She wondered if wanting to die was a crime,
With her popular hospital visits late at night,
She never got used to this and desperately wanted to fight,
He controlled her life and he controlled her thoughts,
Such a shame at this point her love could be bought,
All her friends voices silenced with disappointment in the air,
Most the time her lifeless spirit made her feel she wasnt there,
Her feelings were numbed and cold in shame,
To where only a lifeless fake smile would remain,
She waited at home ready to fight back tonight,
But that night he was no where in sight,
As her eyes closed heavy and she fell into sleep,
Suddenly she woke to everything she wished to see,
The lights all around filled her with joy,
And then she finally got to see her little boy,
She knew she was going to be happy till the end of her days,
Because that man took her life away..
