Was astonishing to see
Like a bright boiling volcano
That’s how it looked to me

Don’t you love to wander
When winter has come to visit?
Your world wears a fur coat
And everything is exquisite

The night was laced with mystery
We weren’t sure what would arise
Spooky folks were everywhere
We were shocked at each surprise

There is a plant we use at Christmas time
But I’ll bet you probably know
That it grows just around Christmas
And that plant is the Mistletoe

It is a yearly event we cherish
Getting together to honor Jesus
The day is planned carefully
For it is extremely important to us

There is nothing in the world
That is as juicy or as sweet
As a freshly picked peach
Oh, what a luscious treat

A treasure chest of memories I have
As I sit by Lake Overholzer
Go back many years now
And are memories that endure
...

Sweet feathery little creatures
Are flitting here and there
I have to feed them daily
Did you notice they won’t share?

Up in the mountains
There is a town
Deserted and barren
From minerals unfound.

A Basket of Gold and in the middle
Upon the Sweet William I see
A yellow and black butterfly
It is so adorable to me.
