When I was cleaning my files i saw the first poem that i wrote (except the ones at school, i mean this was the first time that i really intended to write what i feel) . I'm trying to find the others which is not like a broken love poem or something. I'm trying to vary my poems so i can improve my writing. anyway here it is. -Thanks :)

i didn't believe what i felt
but all i see is you
the first time we held hands

As the moonlight hits your eye
Your smile shines through the nightsky
The stars were bright
When our lips gone high

Everyone has their own story
But you always have a choice
How you want to see things

Failure is a gift
By then you get a chance
To improve, to grow
To learn from your mistakes

A million reasons why i should move on
Not a single one why i shouldn't
Everytime i try to step forward
I find myself looking back

I yearn for your touch,
Long for your smile.
I like your voice,
How it resounds in the room.

I'm a Filipina though i live here in Canada. as of now im new to poemhunter.com! i hope to enjoy my stay here :) Please do comment on my posts or poems.. i don't really know anything about writing poems or so i'm not perfect in speaking/writing english either. i just express my feelings into words. In that way(commenting, giving your opinion or thoughts) i can improve myself and i guess my writing skills (if i have one, hehe) . Thanks you so much! :))

The stars are shining brightly
Then you said you love me
Days after I found out
It wasn't me
But It's okay
As long as your happy
I'm willing to suffer
I'm right here, smiling
But deep inside I'm dying
Can't stop crying
And I'm hurting
For I'm Missing you
Things are not
The same anymore
For what we have before
Are now gone and never coming back
Those days when you
Made a song for me
Those times when you
Lent your shoulders so I can sleep
I can't believe those days were gone
It hurts to think
That I will not be the one anymore
Who you'll sing a song
I'm hurting
Coz you're the only one
Who made me feel this way
And I'm missing you
more and more each day
The feeling continues
To grow everyday
