Bob Holman was born at high noon on the quite balmy spring day of March 10, 1948, in the quaint (the baseball field was covered with four-leaf clover) Southern town of LaFollette, Tennessee. He's not dead yet.
Bob Holman is a poet, poetry activist, writer, former poetry cafe owner, founder of a influential poetry record label (Mouth Almighty), and radio and television producer. Bob has produced pieces for PBS, written five books, and edited several others. He has released his first CD, In with the out crowd, in 2003 and has a new poetry media project called The World of Poetry.
