When death comes like a hungry lion in jungle
Ready to devour its prey
Don't cry as if you were ignorant of my mortality
...

God created the world through you
You are never far from those who desire your company
Wherever you are involved
Things are in order and peace reigns
...

It was an awesome experience no one would wish to miss
A sense of belonging enveloped every fibre of my being,
At last I was able to call my soul my own.
I could make informed decision and be at peace with them
...

Life may have hit you a blow
Friends and acquaintances making a mockery of you;
Causing you to shrivel from the very thought of going outside
Imprisoned in your own house by

As long as I am
And life is, I'll keep scribing
Scribing because written words
Far outlive the spoken words.
...

Like any journey it has a beginning but no ending
It begins when one becomes self conscious
And continue right into eternity
...

I shall go back in time
To the tender age when I used to sit on my father's lap
Ignorant of impossibilities and failures
To a time when I believed I can achieve anything I set my mind on

When Death Comes

When death comes like a hungry lion in jungle
Ready to devour its prey
Don't cry as if you were ignorant of my mortality

When death comes like a hurricane sweeping across a city
Leaving devastation in the aftermath,
Remember that death s the only way to my peaceful bliss

When you learn that I have ceased breathing
That my body has given back all its energy
To the creator
Rejoice in the knowledge of my arrival to the celestial world

Where neither pain nor panic
Sickness nor disease
Discouragements nor disappointments
And their kindred ever exist

When you see my coffin in your midst
Wreaths covering the top
My body lying silent
In the darkness of my closed coffin
Where neither family members
Nor friends ever desire to visit
However much they love me

Then shall you remember that
I was a pilgrim in this world
Travelling from earth to glory
From the terrestrial to the celestial world
From mortal to immortality.

When you surround my grave
Changing songs as if were to say goodbye to me
When my coffin is lowered
Down to the deeper parts of the earth
Do not say goodbye to me nor cry ceaselessly
Because you will only be closing a chapter of my physical existence in time.
