Linda Neill Poet Digter Poems

Sanibona! ¹Greetings to you!
Feel the sun drums of my land
Musical words made by hand
sand shimmering sounds in gold
...

Come close by and tell
me did you know me in a silent wish
and formed my laugh in a magical dish?
In kind I ask you spell,
...

Lament¹ of loom²

I am not saying a word
name me silent
...

Oh treasured Moon, oh treasured King
Will you fetch Venus a Jupiter's ring?
Will you pick me up, lift me towering?
High where the rainbow starts
...

When your eyes turns into sweets looking at me,
a movement of gentle waves, a bubbling sea,
beings in love, lightening up
'Come and bring your coat of joy…'
...

What am I, a woman
in love, with a Roman...
Indeed love roses are planted
and magic crayons invested
...

…Remembrance notes are dressed indeed
for you, my king, in my honorable waiting deed…

Hear my epic chant on a rose wood guitar
...

I..
I am…
I am Eve
I am day
...

My master graphite pen and lead, leads my life
Engraved on white marble paper plaster
The wishes scribbled for master dear
...

Lonely stillness without disturbance
Creates in me a turbulence
No word from you beautiful
Missing you thoughts, -of you my wonderful
...

Blame it on poetry emotion
all words instigation
Blame it on inspiration
of dreams expectation
...

Italian Perhaps Love Sonnet

I love to love you, hear "Amore" from you
Cherishing a thought or three
...

Sanibona! ¹Greetings to you!
Feel the sun drums of my land
Musical words made by hand
sand shimmering sounds in gold
what a beautiful place to behold

Come! Woza! ² A gift for you!
Earth rhythms dance celebrating
peace over South Africa's being
My country heart has a great beat
Blow penny whistles in midday heat

In music colour let us take a tour
a love flavour a honour downpour
Hear the train sounds in the trumpet

Sanibona¹ (Greet a group)
Woza! ² (Come)
