Venus' Love Song To The Moon Poem by Linda Neill Poet Digter

Venus' Love Song To The Moon

Oh treasured Moon, oh treasured King
Will you fetch Venus a Jupiter's ring?
Will you pick me up, lift me towering?
High where the rainbow starts
above the world and stars
above the girls from Mars?

Honour me like the sea worships your name
Where waves echoes sounds of your fame
Treasure me as breathe needs the skies,
adore me still,
even until-
the sky falls and dies

...So Venus and Moon meets in bluest skies
with Angel wings and love bow ties, - flies
Above the sun's ways
Until the end of days
