See the people run for shelter,
Notice embers, fire, smoke,
Children crying, Women screaming,
People coughing, hear them choke,
...

Flip-flops, flip-flops, from where have you come?
From the beach, or the zoo, maybe even from Guam?
Tell me your stories; I’d like to hear these,
Have you walked to a shop for a ham sandwich with cheese?
...

Longingly, I wait here, under willow branches,
Waiting for you, becoming very anxious,
Longingly, I sit here, damp from all the rain,
Waiting for you, so you can ease my pain,
...

You are my sun,
You are my sky,
You are my moon,
You are my stars.
...

Pirate skulls and bones,
Pirate ships and treasures,
Pirate seas and maps,
Pirate scales and measures.
...

Doodily-Doo went to the zoo, to play with all the monkeys.
She would climb and then she'd whine, 'cause things were smelling funky.
Doodily-Doo went to the zoo, to visit with the lions,
She would growl, while they would prowl, and her favorite on was Ryan.
...

It felt as though my life was fading into darkness,
Pressing down upon my shoulders,
I struggled to break free but was unable,
Pressing down with the strength of many boulders.
...

Do you believe in God,
Even if it means to lose all you have?
Say yes to pull the trigger.
Knowing what will happen.
...

On a warm day in the middle of June,
I went to a picnic with lots of food.
The first type I had was pink, or was it red?
The taste I knew, so I did not dread.

If every day was like a beach,
There would be no summer.
If every word was like a poem,
There would be no author.
...

I wonder what would've happened if you'd never ever met me.
Never seen me on the corner, wind blowing gently in my hair.
I suppose life would have continued like the world would have continued turning.
But I suppose if you don't understand the meaning of my words,
...

As I approached the schoolyard,
I heard the children playing.
I heard their loud cries of joy,
That’s when I noticed one little boy.
...

Sitting on tmy front steps,
Feeling all the regrets,
Holding onto things unreal.

The greatest friends are hardest to find,
They give you advice and peace of mind.

Here's to my friend Andrea. She's my girl and she knows it. She's always been there for me and won't ever let me down. We fight sometimes but we know were the kind who are friends until we die.
...

I stand in the distance staring, hoping to catch your eye, even though I know, imediatly, I'll look away, I know you
I dance with my friends, hoping you'll ask me, and if you did, maybe for once I wouldn't be shy, I like you.
I sit near you, constantly worrying about how I look, try only to impress you, though I know you don't care, I like you.
I laugh near you, we're friends now and you've become so much easier to talk to, I'm crushing.
...

You are...
My Friend,
my companion,
through good times and bad
...

18.

Sweet dreams, ice creams,
White dove, summer love,
Sandy beaches, sandy toes.
Bikinis, flip-flops, Wholly Cow.

Cry Havoc

See the people run for shelter,
Notice embers, fire, smoke,
Children crying, Women screaming,
People coughing, hear them choke,
Cry, 'Havoc! ' and let slip the dogs of war,
As tranquility is no more.

Watch buildings tumble to the ground,
Feel the smoke engulfing us,
Note the embers in your eyes,
This city would be infamous,
Cry, 'Havoc! ' and let slip the dogs of war,
As tranquility is no more.

Running from the burning structures,
Kicking up dust a lone rock slips,
Not aware of this rock,
It hits you and you trip,
Cry, 'Havoc! ' and let slip the dogs of war,
As tranquility is no more.

You cry for help,
But no one hears,
They all keep running even me,
Ringing in your ears shouts of fear,
Cry, 'Havoc! ' and let slip the dogs of war,
As tranquility is no more.

Embers fall upon your back,
Cry, 'Havoc! ' and let slip the dogs of war,
You feel the pain but ignore it,
As tranquility is no more.
