along the Eerie Mists ravishing stream,
I was without armor in cloak and hood
I was immersed in a clear mornings dream.

beneath orange shields gold raised falcon crest,
sol's emblazoned heat inflames shaking steel
lance gripped steady by armored hand linked mail.

Clouds shaped like bearded angry gods hovering over the vale
blowing penchant winds across the receding dark forest turf
frightened leaves awakening their brothers to the coming gale
trees digging their fingered roots deeper into trembling earth.

Impenetrable grandeur, towers watch
autumnal dispatch of the changing leaves
forested approach to your gorgeous rock
carved heart expressions of my boyish dreams.

Insidious layered shrouds of enveloping twilight mesh
blanketing, compressing my senses crawling on treasonous ground,
seminal awareness extinguished in the wick of midnight's breath
as false forms surround me in the silenced depth of dying sound.

Medieval Knight replete in golden tones
your battleships invade our cliff side home,
three crosses dress your helmet and your vest,
two dueling swords proud two armed countenance.

Or solemner works should deem them unfair
Undisciplined roads are the path I choose,

Greetings from the honorable land of inexplicable beauty, immutable streams, iridescent meadows, rainbow infused incessant falls, woodland scented smooth faced white pines, mountains cupped with snow ridges and ice carved bridges, and lattice shaped springs, the land of unimaginable name and undisclosed location, the Kingdom of Emperion. I, Clavicus, herald the arrival of the infamous Knight Fizzstorm. I am ordered by the Magistrate to his Majesty, the King of Emperion, to announce the banishment of Knight Fizzstorm for the following offenses; debauchery, drunkenness, wantoness and especially bad poetry. Knight Fizzstorm has been relegated to learn the meaningful nuances of rhyme and meter so that he may learn to read and write verse in an inspiring manner. Once educated in both classic and modern verse, Knight Fizzstorm will be allowed back into Emperion to court and seek the hand of the King's daughter, Princess Chalala.)

Under her brows two curved earth gardened eyes
waif sounds echo trees, stone drums, lyre springs,
awakening nymph outstretched in sunrise
wood winds spiral notes reverberant sings.
Face flecked with twined flower, cheeks of fall leaves,
hair auburn brown, a twig comb, a thorn brush,
love singing song haunting chords travel breeze
feathering the air with lips of pink touch.
