I try so hard to be who I'm not, to prove to you I can be who you want
I can beg on my knees, I can cry or bleed
for you I'll do anything, thats why I started weed
I got drunk for you I'll, I lay for you

how much do you love me, how much do you care?
how much do you wish I was there?
by your side, you right next to me
I think to myself, 'why cant we ever be? '

I am from the trees
I breathe the air you breathe
I come from the land of art
I am from the middle of his beating heart
...

you were once loving, and you did once care
you probably once loved me and I once felt you were near
when I would hug you I could feel your heart beating close to mine
know when I hug you I feel worse than a ten year old drinking wine
...

so full of life never held a knife
always smiling, laughing, or carefree the one thing I loved you being apart of me
If I was having a bad day you always found ways to take the pain away
nothing would ever stop you, or even make you fall, you were ready for the world, ready to take it all

as the days slowly pass by
weeks and weeks as I cry
thoughts of death rolling in my head
as I lay quiet in my bed
...

I'm sitting in my box alone
Wondering if this is the final stepping stone
where's it gonna lead me
I'm afraid to be free

tears roll down my face, at a slow but steady pace
wishing I can scrape away all my anger
as I look down I see signs of danger
