Independence

The day when tyranny fell
A baby got delivered well,
The Big Brother heard the tolling
Death knell; one goes up up up
One goes down down down;
White hands go down,
Brown hands move up;
Every snake has a ladder,
Every ladder has a snake;

A war was won in silence,
A war began in silence;
Khaki hands goes right,
Green hands goes left;
Khaki and green forms blood
Flows through the Jhelum's bed
And flows through Jhelum's bed.......
