Johann Thorarensen Poems
Black and blue straight and true aquarius on the run
All I can manage is an appletree in a flowerpot in my window
Why so silent? Why so closed with a mind to match the cosmos
Why so restless all the time? when things go smoothly
Razorblade in a key in a hand to someone's heart if a keyhole can be found.
Greenwich Village late fifties in the Artist's Studio standing on a ladder
Just A Bit
On a quiet evening by the moon when shadows dance to old Pan's flute
Black and blue straight and true with something hidden that can't come through.
That Sunny Rainbow Day
Theatrics of a passing life rainbows in the sun colour-coded children run it's fun
Lurking in the shadows Hiding in the dark Wanting, needing resolution to open up the doors
The Way South
Deep down South was where the road once led me away from nowhere.
Under the Moon
Under a purple moon anytime soon fall crystalline drops.

Black and blue
straight and true
on the run
from the sun
to the comfort
of the night.
can love you
till I do
can save you
till you're through
so just keep on running
till it's too dark
keep on running
till it's too late
till it's too hard
till you just can't
