When you meet somebody and you win them for your own,
And the courting is over and you say I do.
You can take all your money and build yourself a house,
or take all your love and build yourself
...

Every body wants their life to be
Sunny skies and rainbows.
but they fail to realize where the
sun always shines there is no water below.
...

I want to live where the mountains are tall
where the mountains are covered with snow in the fall

I want to live where the mountains and the rivers are side by side

Lumber And Stone Don'T Make A Home

When you meet somebody and you win them for your own,
And the courting is over and you say I do.
You can take all your money and build yourself a house,
or take all your love and build yourself
a home.
When the honeymoon is over you better love each other all you can,
'Cause if the loving is ever over you will be without a home.
You may have lots of money and can buy what you want,
But it only takes love to buy yourself,
a home.
So when the courting is over and the honeymoon too,
You need to think over what you need to do.
You can build yourself a house with lumber and stone,
And take all your love and make your house into,
a home.
When the years go by about twenty or so,
Your house is still a home, not just lumber and stone.
So if you love somebody you might think about this,
You can keep your house with your money,
Lumber and stone, but you have to give your love if you want to
keep your home.
So if you love somebody you better keep them if you can,
'Cause if the loving is ever over, you have to find
a new home.
