Flower-Soul

Flower-soul

In the backyard
tending the flowerbeds
you, one with the young plants

A flower
among the many
the earth, the fertile soil,
the dream

Flowers drinking
off your hands.
You, their caring sky, the soil
a whiff of their life,
a breath of light.

Beside the flowerbeds
all of a sudden
your fingers were beautiful
caught in the thought
of flowers growing fast.

In the tiny yard
life mushroomed like grass
I left you rich with those flowers
and brought home
a piece of your fertile soul
to grow flowers
in the yard of my life
