While her life lost its spark.
With the last breath she took,
Silence filled the room - death had struck!

As I sit here in the dark,
With nothing but you on my mind.
My heart bleeds,
My soul weeps in your absence.

That moment when you can't help it but feel overwhelmed by emotions,
Memories taking you back and only for the tears to bear witness.
Trying so hard to fight it off but only succeed to fool yourself,
All the wrong choices, mistakes and pain felt - coming back to haunt you.

I am budding poet that writes poems but has never performed them. I'm currently working as Grain Grader at AFGRI and I hold 4 diplomas and a dozen certificates. A rain of tear drops flowed uncontrollably,
Hitting the floor so hard it related to the pain in the room.
No sound but only the silence of death creeping through the door,
And she was no more
