Emma Kessler Poems

Distraught
That's what I am
Why does the world
have to be like this?
...

I'll never waste a chance
To be by your side
Take every chance I get
To look into your eyes
...

The women of death
Loom over the heartbroken
Weighing down upon them
Speaking the only words they know
...

Word of your death
Grabbed me by the throat
and choked every remaining bit of hope from me
...

What if the world was just a book
Some other man has written?
And we were just the characters
Playing out our parts
...

The blue of your eyes, reminds me, of a calm sea
And they have the same effect on me
The calm sea, it pulls me, right in
It makes me want to just stroll in, and stay in, all day
...

I have been here
Too long
Trapped in the wrong world
For so many terrible years
...

My tongue is heavy
With words I have left unspoken
I want to tell you
But my heart thinks I would be mistaken
...

Inspiration
It calls with noiseless words
It creates a stringless knot
That binds together poet and pen
...

I pass the shallow pool
And the water nymphs smile up at me
Out of the water, with angelic, childlike faces
...

You seem to be here
Hiding in my shadow
Often you feel so real
That I feel your breath
...

Hot eyes
Burning salt
Dried on my skin
Constantly replenished
...

I feel like I'm falling
In too deep, to quickly
Too far, too fast
...

You look at me, and I find
That I have no desire to look back
You smile at me, and I find
That my stomach stand still
...

There is no better passage than a book
To take us worlds away
To make us forget everthing
That has troubled us through the day
...

She speaks quickly
and with a heavily forced ease
As she reveals the identity
of his new love
...

A challenge
That's what it is
I never realized it until now
Whether you intend it or not
...

This one here with cheeks like roses
And lips parted into a magnetic smile
This is the one I'll wear when I have to please even the vile
...

Who is that person looking back at me?
That form in the photograph?
The face in it seems familiar
Like a skin
...

Emma Kessler Biography

Poetry is a language all of it's own, an art. It expresses our innermost thoughts, emotions and dreams, in ways nothing else can. The poet is an artist, who paints his pictures with words. Reaching a part of the heart nothing else can. About me, I love to read (I'm a complete and total book worm!) , and I love to draw. Besides poems, I have written several song lyrics and am working on my first book.)

The Best Poem Of Emma Kessler

Despair

Distraught
That's what I am
Why does the world
have to be like this?
Why can't things ever
work out for me?

Crying
That's what I'm doing
Crying out tears that drag out
my sadness, my pain, my confusion

Stop
That's what I want to do
Cease feeling the wrongs of the world
All weighing down on me
Until I feel I am crushed

How?
How can I forget the sadness?
How can I stop the pain?
How can I heal these scars
left on my heart?

Never
Never will I be able to rid my life
of all it's troubles
Never can I heal my heart
The wounds may heal
But the scars will remain

Escape
That's what I must do
But where?
Where is there a place safe from all the pain,
all the sadness, the confusion
I must go
I will never survive another day like this

Now
I must be rid of this
It's eating away at my insides
It's slowly causing me to fade
I'm growing weaker, and weaker
The sadness, the pain, the confusion

Despair
That's what this is
I am distraught and in despair
and I can never be rid of it
It is destroying me
Slowly, but surely
I am fading

'Dreams of the Spring' Emma is still a young girl. However, someone's talent is not defined by his or her age at all.A talent can be better worked on if you start working earlier on it.The fact is very well accepted by the history.A lot of the great talents that we know they were worked on in their characters when they were younger, when they were what we can call as 'the spring of their lives.' And there's no better season than the spring. The spring is a best word for the youth because as you get older, things become more and more difficult and the energy will not be the same any more. It's like in the winter or fall. It is very important for someone who intends to be a writer someday that earlier he or she starts to define his or her own style. It takes time, and we'll find it step by step, bit by bit.The style will show us by itself. I personally like Emma's style. It is something new and different for me.Also creative and interesting.Besides that, Emma is a very smart girl against her own age.I have read almost her whole works here and I loved and enjoyed them very much. The unknown reader will also confirm my words. Emma is a girl who dreams of being a great writer someday in the spring of her life. And her poems here are the first flowers of a garden which will be more and more flourished someday in the future as time goes by.
