Dr. Sada Bihari Sahu Biography

Born in Bolangir in Odisha and got school education in various places of Odisha like Mayurbhanj, Koraput and Bolangir district of Odisha. Dr. Sahu is presently working as Assistant General Manager in the Human Resource Vertical of Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI) at its head office, Lucknow. He holds a Ph.D, MPhil, MLISc, MBA(HRM) , PGDDE, B.Sc(Physics Hons) , Ratna in Hindi, LLB, COP (French and German) , CAIIB, CPD, Certificate in Central Banking, Certificate in SMEs Finance, Certificate in RTI Act 2005, General Course in Intellectual Property, Diploma in Microfinance and UGC-NET. He has more than 25 years of professional experience. Prior to joining SIDBI in 1998 worked in Ministry of External Affairs, Govt. of India, New Delhi, VSS University of Technology, Burla, Odisha, D.A.V. Public School, MCL, Bandhabahal, Office of District Inspector of School, Sonepur etc. He got Gold Medal/Topper in Post Graduate and M.Phil course and consistently good academic record (First Class) through out the career. He is a recognized supervisor or guide of Shri Jagdishprasad Jhabarmal Tibrewala University (JJTU) , Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan and Shri Venkateshwar University, Gajraula, Uttar Pradesh for the Ph.D Programme. Actively participated in various management, banking, literary and computer science activities and closely associated with various national and international association of literature, library, management, banking and computer science as a life member of Indian Institute of Banking & Finance(IIBF) , All Indian Management Association(AIMA) , Computer Society of India(CSI) , AIMS International(USA) , Akhil Bharatiya Sahitya Parishad, Society of Information Science, ILA, IASLIC, SLA(USA) , ISSI(Netherlands) , IALLD(UK) , Emerald Literati Network(UK) , etc. Dr. Sahu has worked as resource person, reviewer, editor etc. for various national and international journals and professional programmes. He has published 05 books and 70 articles in various national and international journals and books. He won many national and international award like " Rajbhasha Gaurav Award" from Honorable President of Inida Shri Pranab Mukherjiee in September 2016, AIMS International Award 2015 and won many prizes in All India Essay Competitions among Banks and Financial Institutions organized by Reserve Bank of India(RBI) , Punjab National Bank(PNB) , Vijaya Bank, Syndicate Bank and other Banks including prizes from Governor, RBI in 2009,2015 and 2016. Dr. Sahu have been writing poem in Odia, Hindi and English languages. Dr. Sahu have been associated with IGNOU for last 19years for counseling, evaluation, radio talk etc for Post Graduate and Bachelor Programme.)
