DEOKSANG LEE Poems

I don't want to be a large star.
I don't want to become the morning star.
...

Red blossom,
Brightly laughing smile,
She's the cake of flower flame.
...

At walking paths I wander,
Water doesn't flow in the land,
Yearning is always flowing moistly.
Without crying,
...

White clouds like a feather come to be carried on the breeze,
Trees silently come to me with fingers waving,
It's heavy as being pressed with all the gravity of the earth.
Want to fly like the foam of wave,
...

While the sun is closing eyes,
the moon opens the lips.
Only the hands of clock
Slowly fall asleep.

If I Were A Frog

I don't want to be a large star.
I don't want to become the morning star.
Even if I'm not a small star,
Though I'm not shiny,
Even though I'm not an obscure star,
I'm so good.
I'm not the name of star.

From some unknown time on,
The frog which don't come from the ground even in spring.
Being tired of struggling,
The frog which hibernates.
I would have been the foolish frog.
Oh,
I wish I were such a lonely frog
That can run again after shrinking in the ground.
