CarolAnne Spalding Poems
Lies, Lies, Lies
The time has come to set me free All the damage you've done Has left too little of me
Aftermath of Love
I gave you my body ...you told me a lie I gave you my heart's soul
HER MAN She wonders if you love her
I wish I knew ...what was on your mind I wish I knew
Upon shadowed perch We devour, dance & sing Our passion ignites Watch the pendulum swing
I regret those hurtful words And every meaningless threat That was made
I finally laid to rest The fractured soul I used to be And I know that if our eyes met
Like a naive fool, I chose to believe ...that your word meant something & you'd never leave So THIS fool-in-love gave her heart for a chance
Hold on, cherished Angel, this lesson's incomplete The emptiness within your soul
You're on your own ...that's exactly what you said
Pen in hand I'm drawn to pen
I DON'T KNOW WHY...
i don't know why i think of you each and every day i don't know why i love you so
Set Me Free
When my time has come and I am gone Will I cross your mind? Or will you just move on? Will you reflect on times you hurt me so? Will you have regrets? Will your emotions show?
Garden Of Eden
Such a sacred sanctuary of serendipitous serenity Nestled, cradled within the bosom of a Divine Oasis... With a loving hand, Mother Earth has exquisitely unleashed Her artistic ability through this work of art we refer to as 'Nature'

Lies, Lies, Lies
The time has come
to set me free
All the damage you've done
Has left too little of me
Do you really see no one
when you look in my eyes?
You must believe I am no one
'Cuz all you told me was lies
