Aftermath Of Love Poem by CarolAnne Spalding

Aftermath Of Love

Rating: 5.0

I gave you my body
...you told me a lie

I gave you my heart's soul
...as I broke down to cry

I gave you my trust
...which I learned to regret

But mostly I wish
...that we never had met

the pains of love. giving all the time is a hard thing to do especially when you get nothing in return. a very good poem with hard learned lesson.
