In just a few moments, She would take her own life
If only someone got to her, before this horrific night
For now she hangs lifeless, from the ceiling of her room
Her mother finds her hanging there, later that afternoon

She lives her life, and no one can see
The pain dwelling inside her, Shes dying to be free
The girls on magazines, beautiful and thin
She so desperately longs, to look just like them
...

That hospital room, has been all that shes known
The past eight months, she hasnt been home
A heartbroken mother, and a speechless father
Drive sixty miles, just to see their daughter
...

Hurt myself again today, and no one sees the pain
It burrows on the inside, and rarely shows its face
...

Planted firmly, and sprouting seemingly too fast,
The result was strong and beautiful.
Roots growing through the soil and getting stronger each day
The tree grew taller than all.
