Glorious and proud

Death plays with your ashes all over the dark seas
She looks after them when
The stars are inattentive
Childish and forgetful

She opened the grim secret chamber with a drop of blood
Marking the wall
She let herself slip into the marble tub
The water wrapped her naked limbs

I carefully held the stars and
Let them breath shyly in my arms
They slipped gently over my mortal bones
Like an ethereal river
...

I was born in the night mist
In ice and thunder
I only rest when the earth crumbles
Yet I fear

I mostly starve for the light that
Nestles in the lining of your skin
When the moon kisses the ocean
And the shadows start breathing overbearingly
