C H A M B E R Poem by Camelia Dragusin

C H A M B E R

She opened the grim secret chamber with a drop of blood
Marking the wall
She let herself slip into the marble tub
The water wrapped her naked limbs
Greedily, hungrily
She locked herself into the hidden tomb
Dreaming eternally within the flooded womb
