It wasn't with knives he beckoned me,
Neither though his eyes any danger I could see,
It was with love he hold me tight,
Showing me; a lovely dreamy sight.

O! dream, why do you turn back time?
O! heart, why do you act like a mime?
O! love, you brought a smile in my face,
O! love you left my tears in a chase..

It wasn't with fear that I chose her;
Neither with hope that we will be together,
It was love; for which, I closed my eyes,
Dreaming of her down the distant skies.
