First of all, I'd like to give a big thanks to any followers out there! Yee Haw! Just joking! I just want to thank everyone who has viewed my poet page, read my poetry, commented, and rated. You guys are the best. Thanks for letting me know what you think. You may know me as The Poet Keri, or Keri The Poet. I just forgot the user and password so I had to create a new one. I was afraid with all the Poet Keri accounts I had, I would forgot it. So I came up with something unique about poetry (which I love) : Artistic Perspective. I hope you will all help me (because I am a beginner poet and would like to have some feedback and suggestions and stuff from a poetic community) by reading my poetry and rating it, commenting it and giving feedback, and stuff like that. I would appreciate any help. Please help me improve my writing because I hope to become a famous poet one day. Help fulfill someone's dream and help today by reading my poetry, rating it so I know how good I am doing, give comments and feedback (as well as suggestions and questions) so I can take that into my writing and/or send me a message and let me know what you think about my poetry. Thanks a lot. I want to thank everyone who will help me in advance. Any help to accomplish and fulfill my dream is greatly appreciated. I feel like you can express your thoughts, opinions, and feelings in poetry. Poetry can be graceful, rough, adventurous, gentle, beautiful, soothing and more. I love how poetry gives you a good impression of who the author is, how they're like, and their perspective. I love perspective the most. Almost every author has a different perspective. They may view the poem a different way. Same with readers as well. What I like, about poetry, is that poems can be interpreted different ways and can have different points of views. That's what I like most about poetry. I am just a beginner poet and I hope this poetic community can help me by viewing my poems, rating them, and giving my comments/feedback so I know how good I am doing, how people view and like my work, any suggestions, comments, and feedback to help me improve my writing. A Rose Petal

A Rose Petal

A Rose Petal quickly falls off its rose.
I see that it's falling quickly, but in my mind I see it slowly.
What's pleasant about a piece of itself ripping, tearing away?
The only pleasant thought about it, is it will grow a new rose.
I watch the petal fall and plummet.
Until it hits the ground.
Rose petals, Rose petals, are all around.
Why must they fall off?
The rose is now unwhole.
Hopefully, it will come back,
Restore the rose's soul.
