Just me the telly and me phone
No-one to tell me what to do
Or moan when I buy something new

Although I live life on my own
To loneliness I'm never prone
For many people come to my door
and others phone me even more

This nasty virus has taken hold
of the world and of our nation
Stay in, don't go to work, we're told
but, don't treat like a vacation
...

I like to travel on my own
with passport and my camera phone
To countries I have never been
and hidden places yet unseen
...

Last Christmas you kept us apart
Whilst every next day
You partied away
This year I'll wave off my fears
...
