Black night
No stars in the sky
Not yet...
...

My ragged clothes are slipping
My shawl used to be full of color
Now a pale grey
My feet are bare
...

Tielo had never been prouder
He had proved his citizenship
His dignity was in an uproar
Immense
...

Peaceful running waters
A breath-taking river, boiling and running
Birds chirping in the healthy trees
Cobwebs glisten like a 1st Prize trophy
...

Hiroshima Crane

Black night
No stars in the sky
Not yet...

The moon shine bright like a pearl
She can still see smoke from....
The woman weeps
'In this ancient house...paved with a hundred stones...Momoshiki Ya, Furki nokiba no...'
The wind rustles through the dead trees
It caresses her face
It tells her...
She understands
It'll be a matter of time before...
'Ferns grow in the eaves, Shinobu ni mo, ni mo. Ferns grow in the eaves, Shinobu ni mo, ni mo. Shinobu ni mo ni mo. Shinobu ni mo.'
She sings
She's still weeping
Tears fall freely
She enters her destroyed, ruined place she called 'home'
It has never been repaired since...

Pure darkness
No living thing around for miles
Except her
Her home has seen better days
Wilted, deceased flowers galore
Bricks are scattered as if the tiger has destroyed a mighty village
Suddenly, before her eyes,
Blue figures appear
The same blue as the sea's eyes
One is her daughter
Her son
Her husband
Herself...
Her little three year-old is playing with her toys
Her brother plays with her
Their parents laugh happily as they watch the toddlers play
They have nothing to fear...
The woman smiles at this, glorious, happy memory
'But numerous as they are, Nao amari aru...But numerous as they are, my old memories...are more....'
She gasps
The woman falls to the floor
Leukemia has taken its toll
The memory is still there, as blue and jubilant as ever
Before she dies, she sings
'Mukashi nari keri...Mukashi nari keri.....'
She dies with a smile upon her face
Meanwhile, the Great One looks down
'No...she couldn't bear to see it a second time...'
But HE still watches the memory
The figures look out the window
American fighter planes
Or were they demonic, grey birds?
They dropp an enormous, ominous thing, as black as burnt wood
The second it hits the ground...
Explosion
Anguished, horrendous cries
Bricks fly everywhere
The father vanishes
'Vaporized...'
The son collapses
His soul passes
Her daughter dies quickly too
The woman is unconscious
She will die two years later...
Black smoke swallows millions of lives
Millions of souls drift towards the Great One
The roars of the engines now sound like evil laughter
Not of a human
Of evil

Hiroshima, August 6,1945

The memory fades
The woman is alone

A huge, blue crane erupts from her body
A beautiful, Sapphire blue
A crane so majestic the greatest king on earth would be humbled in its presence
It's not a crane
It's a soul...
The crane takes flight
The body of the woman is alone...
...forever

The crane flies towards the full, pearl moon
The night is full of twinkling, wonderful stars
Angelic, white Souls
Her Family, waiting for her
The Great One smiles
And holds out his hand....
