To frost in just a day.

The promise of a better company,
To walk on this travel in one same way.

At the edge of sanity.
My limp, tortured soul
Is stripped of all vanity.

People dancing, laughter all around.
Music blaring, the big room loud,

I see a flower so rare;
Of delicate beauty, I swear.
It hids amidst the tall grass,
Down the hill as I pass.

Sand in Hand..

Love, like grains of sand;
They sparkle in my hand.

City lights burn bright in the dark of night;
Footsteps echo the chilly wind.
I have walked the dead end of this road;
I am lonely and cold.
