Virgil Howard Poems

My bounty, my light,
my torture, my spite,
the heart breaks down with vicious might,
if torture sees the break of day,
...

I saw the rose,
the rose was red,
the pained heart,
whose blood had bled.
...

The anger burns,
with a raging flame,
the heart is played,
like a savage game.
...

The scream of silence,
the trees have fallen,
the eve of the scream,
the harpies have callen.
...

A king thats lost his kingdom,
A lord thats lost his land,
His men who lost their freedom,
Wiped the grime from his wicked hand.

Hate Will Be Gone

My bounty, my light,
my torture, my spite,
the heart breaks down with vicious might,
if torture sees the break of day,
it'll grab its sword and go away
if an end shows its coming at the end of day,
hate will be gone and love will stay.

The heart, the soul,
the hatred whole,
the heart is manipulated with much control,
if light sees the coming of the night,
tke whats wrong and make it right,
Open your eyes and see the sight,
and witness the end of a hateful fight.

The death, you mourn,
your heart is torn,
your beauty is a rose with no thorn,
you said you loved, and so, I thought
your passion burns, no water sought,
your love was pure, roses were brought,
the battle has ended, no longer fought
