Isle Of Love

Sunny day woke me up from a thoughtful night
Rays of daystar rising with hope in the east
Beholding right and left of river krishna
My lonesome heart rejoicing for beloved - ‘queen of maidens'
A march in May towards heart of Island
Sailing on wavy bed in the boat, while
Silver stars glimmer on water face showed path
A red lettered day in an island's life
Woods bowed its' heads to ground on her chest
Gentle breeze greeted with bevy of flowers, and
Paved a floral path as token of greeting
United hearts beaten to break lock of shyness
Chatting side by side-love, deify and sigh blend together
Cuckoos enthralled by her enchanting voice
Words of angel poured showers of love
To bolster my life and my union
A nymph, unique in the nature
How dare! an ant kissing her bewitching rosy cheek
And tried to build its abode on it!
I can't..., thank God! I could manage, but
Difficult staring at treasure of beauty, and
Pleasure garden of succulent fruits, splendid!
When I push her on swing, owing to service to my love
A day never spent before, and
Ended with lingering kiss on her hand
