Magic Of A Friend

I had just shifted my house,
And was threatened by a mouse,
I was so engrossed and felt alone,
Suddenly I heard a ringing phone.

Dad picked it up,
There barked my pup,
When I heard a noise,
There were many joys.

I opened the door,
And noticed a roar,
My friend smiled,
But saw me mild.

She was the only one,
Who helped me, my work to be done,
She made me grin,
And put my tension in the bin….
