For You Mom

She was a mother of five,
And with two of my own,
I am not sure how she survived.

Her brothers all called her Sis,
And family gatherings I still reminisce.

She knew my favorite foods and always made me extra,
That I was her favorite was my sibling's conjecture.

In my younger days I remember her full of life,
An evil disease, later on, caused her much strife.

I still remember her hugs and laughs,
And enjoy looking at her old photographs.

She was our Mom and quite awesome,
And for us five,
She will never be forgotten.
