In a non coherent moment keeping any wounds
covered in a tough leather skin.

I bask as the blackness fills the air.
A shiver overtakes me as the energy bound within, reaches out and lays it's heavy hand in this small place in time.
All smiles as I wait and watch... they run amuck
looking everywhere for a shield against the rage sure to come.

Torn and greasy paper tucked inside a children’s book.

I have jettisoned now orbiting the moon.

The oceans will be our fingers
Trembling... writhing... agitated...
The mountains will be our tongues
Dangerous... wise... consistent
...

Stillness ushers in my sense of wonderment.
It hangs here in the coming light
like a full bellied bat returned to roost.
Cradled in the ways of time a woman of many mothers
...

Come through my eyes to safety,
In my heart the vibration starts.

Pieces of me
Some buried in the mothers girth

Some sent along the way with the gushes of spring.

Smoke pours from my lungs in the rawness of a cold fall morning,
Purple lights and a forever lit jack-o-lantern surround my haze.
The toothy grin slowly succumbing to the decay
Of life and death and life again spreading the virus of eternity

I feel the luckiest when driving down the way
Them naked branches dancing with the wind
