The Mask Poem by ENOCH JOHN

The Mask

Why remain in the shadows,
Or oblivion as your gallant shield use
Come hither from out of the twilight
And redeem yourself forthwith.

With bravado you mask your fears
And thru uncertain ways bluff
Like a whistling youth disguising his fears,
Treading the darkened road at night.
