Seasons Change Poem by John DeBona

Seasons Change

Rating: 5.0

Its amazing how the seasons change
Snow, to sun, to falling leaves.
Ever moving, never ceasing.
Time moves on, without a thought.
What could have been,
An afterthought.
When I was young, didn’t have a care
Its amazing what the seasons share
I grew older like a tree
Emotions got the best of me.
I plowed the field and
Sowed my oats
Throw it in and hope it floats.
Another year goes by.
Its amazing how the seasons fly.
I wish that I could change some things
Goodbye my love on velvet wings.
Now I guess that time moves on
Another season come and gone.
I await the gray and walking cane
Feel the love and feel the pain
The sun moves on unending chain
Its amazing how the seasons change
