Blade Of Vengeance Poem by John DeBona

Blade Of Vengeance

Rating: 5.0

Blades of vengeance...
hammer striking...
Barbed in flesh... impaling spike.

Talons slicing, begging for air.
...Snapping bone
...tendons bare
Twisting grip
... suffocating
Wicked fist,
deadly hate.

Claw the eyes...
rip them clean.
Tearing flesh
oozing out...
from its seam.

Blood runs cold
Trickling down the thigh.
Passing out...
with deaths last sigh.

Wow... intense stuff, John! Graphic, but in a poetic sense... very well done! Brian
