Keep In Touch

Rating: 5.0

Did you converse with God today?
Did you feel the need to pray
Was the presence of Christ so real?
You thought His breath to feel

Sweet hour of prayer, how sweet you are
To speak through Christ The Morning Star
Lord deep within my heart You dwell
Your Spirit guiding truth to tell

Your gift of prayer is given free
It’s mine to share on bended knee
Whether I’m here or travel far
I speak my God and there You are

You wait all day and through each night
To hear a word from Your delight
Yet Lord You know the things we seek
Your answer comes before we speak

You want Your child to have the best
Days full of peace, sweet nights of rest
You’ll keep us safe in perfect view
If when we share a word or two

Each child You love with all Your heart
From none of us You seek to part
Sinner or saint you watch us all
And hate it, when from grace we fall

For through Your grace we seek above
Through fellowship You share Your love
On earth to man we’ll speak all day
Only with You; we’ve nought to say

The word is strong and plain to see
When said in faith on bended knee
Mountains will move great waters part
When children speak with faithful heart.
