It Happens Every Day Poem by Anonymus Girl

A woman got hit by a car today
It would be horrible to go that way
When I found out I could have cried
Because that poor lady died
She left behind her husband and kid
I don’t think they’ll forgive that driver for what he did
When I saw his face there was no regret
And the words he said I will never forget
“It was karma that got her, not me
And when you realise that you will set me free’
The driver was declared to be insane
But that woman’s life was not regained
Her child will now grow without a mother
Or it’s unborn baby brother
