I want you when I’m all alone
And crying for help
I want you when I’m sitting on the steps
And dreaming of you
I don’t need you
And I don’t need you in my life
But I want you in it
It’s a want that is so powerful that it becomes a need
I don’t need anything but you
Even if I lived in a shack
In the middle of nowhere
I would be alright
Because you were by my side
And that’s what I want
You in my life
