100 mph
That’s how fast it’s going
All these thoughts in my mind
They just won’t stop
I try to put on the brakes
But they’re broken
And now I can’t stop
Now I’m falling faster
Faster, and faster into this hole
Everyone just looks at me
They don’t even try to help
Flying colors is all I see
Everything is such a blur
Then I see you and look into your beautiful eyes
And everything just stops
Like you’re the missing part to my brakes
I’m not falling anymore
But when I look away
It all just happens again
So I look back at you
That’s when I realized that you were what I needed
To be able to stop
Stop and see the scenery
To be able to see clearly
And to see what’s around me
And live life the way I’m supposed to
But I looked away again
And this time when I looked back at you
You were gone
And I couldn’t find you
And I still can’t
I’ve been searching all over for something that could replace this missing part
But nothing is a perfect fit
Like you were
So I sit down
And watch the colors go by
Hoping that you will come by again
But I have been waiting for too long
And it’s time to search a little more
I look this way and that way
And I think I see you but, it was just one of those
Look-a-likes that they’re the perfect fit
But with them there are so may chances to take
So, I decided to keep on searching
For the real and original one
That I could always trust
Without taking any chances
Or worrying if there will be any mistakes in the making
100 mph
I’m still going
Such a blur
And everything seems to be going faster now
The further I get from you the faster I’m going
Falling, falling
Harder, and harder
Each and every time
I get back up but I fall right back where I started
Each time deeper and deeper into this dark hole
And I can’t see where I’m going
Each way I go
I run into things I don’t want
So, I’m not giving up
I’m going to keep searching until I find just what
I’m looking for
And that’s you
Oh, baby, that’s you
And I just now realized that
Just please find you’re way back to me
Because I’ve been waiting here patiently
Because this is too much craziness for me
I need you to open me eyes
And stop this blur
I need you to be with me
So I can finally rest
And put these thoughts to a complete stop
