Fair skin, lean look, and a casual gait,
My first crush walked in through the college gate.
Love knew no boundaries, I knew this for sure,
...
</>Often I see myself sitting alone in my room,
And think of the world to be at its doom.
The doom of the world will leave nobody around,
And the same i feel now, as the only thing i hear is my heart's sound.
...
My First Crush
Fair skin, lean look, and a casual gait,
My first crush walked in through the college gate.
Love knew no boundaries, I knew this for sure,
But all I wanted was to glance him a little bit more.
We often crashed near the main corridor,
His absence made the world around me so bore.
The responses he gave were so very positive,
But very often, my foolish crush, landed on the verge of becoming so talkative.
I remember the day we first held hands,
The effect was nothing, but just that my heart sang.
It sang, yes it sang the song of love,
And the only bird I did visualize in him was a dove.
Once I slipped and landed in his comforting arms,
Oh my God, the smile he gave had the world's best charms.
Days went and nights passed by,
Things changed, and i know the answer for the why.
His best friend has become my love today,
Should I go back in the past and hold his hand!
No way.
